Leaf Project

Using real fall leaves that I collected I decided to combine the natural, interchangeable world with the material world represented by the ink.
Using a permanent pen I created detailed and meticulous designs on the leaves.

This project was designed to express an opinion on the environment and how the world is changing right in front of our eyes. In this process, I tried to freeze the fragile moment when the leaf falls to the ground and keep it forever by preserving it.
By drawing my design on the leaf I emphasize the leaf and give it a voice, placing it on a podium and make the viewer notice it.
